WORKSHOPS
GROUP Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy/Therapy (KAP)
LINEAGE IN RITUAL
JEWISH NATURE
With the renaissance of psychedelic medicines, it’s important that clinicians are well equipped with techniques to support their clients' integration.
This 4-day retreat will provide experiential opportunities, integration practices, and practical information. Clinicians will learn preparation for, holding space for, and integration of ESA while working with their own psycho-spiritual development.
This workshop includes experiences with Ketamine, breathwork, shamanic drum journey, art process, movement, and group process. Those attending the retreat will have the option of participating in an ongoing, year-long Growth Group where they engage in their personal unfoldment, commit to the group process, and learn skills to work with clients who request integration for ESA. This may include Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) clients who work with a KAP-trained therapist for initial treatment and need ongoing integration.
While this training is not a KAP certification training, it is a way to deepen into that training.
Some of the topics included in the retreat include:
-
Ceremony as Set, Setting, and Integration.
-
Spiritual emergence vs psychotic break.
-
Basics on the legal use of Ketamine for mental health.
-
Traditional psychotherapy versus integration.
-
Respecting the client’s innate healing intelligence (inner healer).
-
Theories and methods that lend themselves well to integration.
-
Art for Access integration technique.
-
3 categories of a client’s psycho-spiritual center of gravity.
Cristin DeVine and Jennifer Allen are licensed clinicians, graduates of the CIIS Certification in Psychedelic Therapy and Research (CPTR) program and students of Andean Cosmology and earth-based practices. Jennifer brings her art therapy to the mix, and Cristin brings her experience in wilderness rites of passage and depth psychology, making their offering creative, intuitive, and connected to the natural world. Both are trained in and practice Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
The retreat takes place at Kayru Lodge – a private yurt/residence in Big Sur (25 min from Carmel). It is highly encouraged that participants stay on the land for the full experience. Group size is limited to 10. Covid vaccinations/negative tests are required. Current safety precautions will be observed. Simple lunches will be provided, as well as hot/cold teas. Directions and intake for breathwork and Ketamine are provided upon registration.
Fee: $970 plus a $100 medical evaluation fee
